I’m Alison Bargh and I joined St John’s, Campbells Bay in 2003 along with my husband Paul and two sons.
In March 2004 I began work as parish administrator to Co-Vicars Michael and Carole Hughes. Since then my duties and experience have grown and I have enjoyed working with several clergy over the last 15 years. I love the variety of work and the sense of satisfaction when everything comes together and our services minister to people.

PEOPLE AT ST JOHN'S
St John's welcomes new members. To help you get to know us, here are some of our friendly faces.
I joined St Johns with my husband and family in 1978. When we arrived I joined a homegroup in week 2, and then went straight into the Sunday School team, and that is where I love to be - where young ones are discovering how much God loves them, and is there for them, no matter what!
And yet I have been drawn into spending more time outside the parish – organising and taking services at Park Lane and Knightsbridge Villages, and keeping connections there. And being the liaison person for World Day of Prayer in this area is a great link to other churches and their people.
My book of the moment is Brene Brown’s – Dare to Lead.I find Brene’s books and TED talks, especially encouraging and helpful. Having heard testimonies from young people at Festival One, she gives great insight and help into young people as well as my age.
