Anglican Church Services can differ considerably from one church to another.  Some churches enjoy loud contemporary music, and others prefer traditional hymns.  Yet other churches fall somewhere in between.

Services at St John's Campbells Bay are usually peaceful, more traditional services with a mix of traditional and contemporary hymns.  Sunday services are firmly based on the Orders of Service in the New Zealand Anglican Prayer Book.  For example, see the "Thanksgiving and Praise" service on page 476.

Services at St John's

 

​​Sunday 8am : Traditional Holy Communion Service with hymns on first and fifth Sundays.  Usually finishes by 9am.

Sunday 9.30am : Family Communion Service with a mix of hymns and Worship songs.  Activities for children are provided.

Wednesday 10am : Traditional mid-week Holy Communion Service followed by morning tea.
